Mike Quick is a managing partner with Quick Leonard Kieffer, where he has spent almost a decade developing expertise in all aspects of the search process, from securing clients to delineating job accountabilities and ensuring cultural fit, developing candidates, and managing client decision-making and expectations.
Most recently, Mike also served as vice president of client relations and business development for Quick Leonard Kieffer, leading the firm's business development, sales, and marketing efforts, and working with senior management and managing partners to implement and maintain systems and processes that promote strong client relationships, service excellence, and a culture of business development. As a Principal at QLK, Mike collaborated with the firm's partners, principals, and associates to execute retained searches for C-suite executives in hospitals, health systems, academic medical centers, medical groups, health associations, and life science companies.
Mike has been surrounded by executive search since birth and has a strong familiarity with the facets and dynamics of the field. Among other strengths, he has an innate ability to identify opportunities – for clients, for candidates, and for the firm – paired with well-honed communication skills that serve his ultimate goal of facilitating the development of partnerships that are mutually beneficial to all stakeholders.
Mike holds a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Kansas, and worked in a variety of film and television production roles in Los Angeles, California, earlier in his career. He and his wife reside in the suburbs of Chicago with their daughter.
