With more than 4,000 deliveries a year, the women's and children's hospital encompasses 14 large, all-private LDR rooms, three C-section operating rooms, hydrotherapy, in-room family space, a family kitchen and living room, and 24-hour in-house physician coverage. More than 30 pediatric physician specialists, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants deliver comprehensive pediatric subspecialty care through the Nunnelee Pediatric Specialty Clinic, and NHRMC enjoys a close relationship with the University of North Carolina Health Care System to further enhance care for children in the region.
