Thoughtfully organized into four verticals (i.e., Association (and Government Affairs); Operations; Business Intelligence; and Industry Insights), the MGMA's structure was designed to facilitate business accountability, audience reach and impact, data-driven decision-making, and top performance outcomes.
The Chief Operating Officer reports directly to the president and CEO and is accountable for the successful leadership and advancement of the MGMA's internal operations and the team members included therein. Direct reports to the COO:
The primary role of the COO – and most critical to the MGMA's success – is to instill and maintain highly efficient internal processes, data-supported methodologies, rigor, and an outcomes-focused culture of accountability across the entire organization. With CEO oversight, the COO will function as the operational partner to the chief financial officer and provide operational insights relative to exploring new business partners/ventures, as appropriate.
