Holy Family Memorial is respected as one of the most innovative and caring healthcare networks in the country, with a strong consumer-focused approach to care. It is the recognized leader and largest provider of healthcare services in Manitowoc County, served by 1,076 employees, 307 volunteers, and 115 medical and dental staff members. Care delivery is through a fully integrated network uniting a comprehensive community hospital, retail and walk-in care, more than 15 clinics, retail pharmacy, a medically based wellness center, and a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility. Services of note include a regionally recognized sub-specialty focused orthopedic service line, a cancer center that is part of the nine-member Regional Cancer Collaborative, the HFM Heart and Vascular Center, and specialized women's services available through numerous clinics. Holy Family logged 144,129 clinic and walk-in visits; 13,309 Emergency Department visits; 2,519 inpatient discharges; 209 births; and 3,349 surgeries in 2016.
Under the supervision of the president and chief executive officer, the vice president for strategy and resources/chief strategy officer provides leadership and direction for all aspects of strategic planning, business development, strategic relationships, division support, and financial operations, including materials management and supply chain, patient accounts, patient business services, accounting, payroll, cost and budget, managed care contracting, and health information management. The successful candidate for this opportunity will be constantly challenged to grow and develop, as the bar will continually be raised and opportunities for improvement are always available. An individual who can think innovatively, view the larger organizational picture through a lens of continuous improvement, and lead and commit to Holy Family Memorial's mission, vision, and values would be ideally suited for this position.
