NEHII, a public/private non-profit, is the designated statewide health information exchange and population health analytics provider connecting the complete continuum of care – clinics, hospitals, labs, long-term care, and other post-acute facilities – in Nebraska and western Iowa.  NEHII is the first HIE to achieve NCQA certification.  NEHII, the parent, launched two subsidiaries in 2019 - the for profit shared services company and the non-profit Nebraska Healthcare Collaborative.  NEHII is funded by the Nebraska Department of Health & Human Services, CDC, CMS, DOJ, and member fees.

Job Description:

Reporting to the chief executive officer, the CAO is responsible for managing all aspects of finance, legal, risk management, compliance, privacy, contract and grant administration, and human resources.  As a member of the senior executive team, the CAO will collaborate with the CEO, board members, peers, and stakeholders regarding strategic and financial planning for the organization's shared services.  The CAO will be responsible for establishing and sustaining a culture of skilled communication, true collaboration, effective decision-making, appropriate staffing, meaningful recognition, authentic leadership, transparency, professionalism, accountability, excellence, and innovation.
