Jamie Cassedy is a Managing Partner at Quick Leonard Kieffer, guiding the day-to-day operations of search assignments to ensure that that they run smoothly and progress to their ultimate goal. Jamie joined QLK in 2014 and throughout his career has successfully completed over 100 C-suite and senior-level healthcare executive searches in the areas of operations, finance, medical affairs, nursing, human resources, and other disciplines. His clients range from large academic medical centers and healthcare systems to community hospitals, medical groups, associations, and biopharma companies. Throughout his career, Jamie has developed a deep and wide network within the healthcare space. Among Jamie’s most notable engagements, he was responsible for the placement of the System CFO within $40B healthcare system and the CEO of a publically traded healthcare analytics company.
Jamie’s ability to develop trusting, long-lasting relationships with clients, candidates, and his own QLK colleagues has allowed him to consistently achieve positive results. He is skilled at the identification of areas of both opportunity and excellence in client organizations and in candidates, and has a strong ability to understand client needs and candidate profiles to facilitate the best possible matches. Jamie is a strategic, out-of-the box thinker whose transparent communication style earns him the respect of those with whom he works.
A consummate professional who is highly driven to succeed, Jamie began his career as a commodities trader at the Chicago Board of Trade, specializing in the execution of futures against options. He transitioned to executive search in 2005 as a generalist, subsequently defining his focus on healthcare services. Jamie’s recruiting experience has ranged from smaller boutique firms to one of the largest privately held global firms in the country.
Jamie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Jamie and his wife are the parents of four young children and reside in Chicago.
