Lisa Underwood is currently the Vice President of Finance and Operations. She joined QLK in 2015 as the Director of Finance and Human Resources working with the CFO in this role for four years. In 2019, she moved into her current position, expanding her role to supervise and manage the work of QLK’s administrative staff. She also manages the human resource function coordinating hiring, onboarding and benefits administration. Along with her financial management and reporting responsibilities, she manages and tracks search milestones and processes to ensure quality outcomes. She partners with the CEO, Managing Partners, and Of Counsel Consultants to implement the assignment and staffing of search and project work to Principals and Executive Search Consultants.

Before joining QLK, Lisa spent many years in the nonprofit sector where she worked as the Finance and Human Resources Manager at the Brain Research Foundation. Prior to this role, Lisa worked at Marketstaff, an outplacement human resources organization, in human resources and finance. She also worked in marketing and business development with First Union Corporation, now a subsidiary of Wells Fargo.

Lisa has a BA in International Business/Finance from Ball State University. Lisa and her husband reside in the western suburbs of Chicago and have three children.
