Joe Johnston joined Quick Leonard Kieffer as a Principal in October 2016. He works alongside the firm’s partners, principals, and associates in conducting a variety of senior-level healthcare searches for community hospitals, medical groups and large health systems.

Joe is a seasoned search professional with twenty-five years of experience in executive search consulting. Before he assumed his current role at Quick Leonard Kieffer, Joe held senior research, knowledge management, and recruitment positions at Ray & Berndtsen, Korn/Ferry International, and Lantern Partners.

Prior to his career in executive search consulting, Joe coached tennis and taught English and Latin for ten years in public secondary and private boarding schools, as well as summer courses at the University of Akron. A published author of non-fiction and short fiction in periodicals and literary quarterlies, Joe is an Army veteran and holds a BA in English from Sewanee—The University of the South.
