Michael Wukitsch, SPHR has been named executive vice president for human resources of Cadence Health. Mike is a strategic and results-oriented human resources professional with over 20 years of experience in multiple industries and cultural environments. Prior to this position, Mike was the vice president of human resources for Children’s Hospital Colorado for more than five years; he then became the vice president and chief human resources officer for almost two years. Among his many accomplishments at Children’s Colorado, Mike led HR support efforts in hospital-based pediatric practice acquisition, integrating over 300 new staff members. His past appointments also include director of human resources – operations with the Coors Brewing Company and the director of human resource services with Rockwell Automatic. Mike, who is from Naperville, Illinois, acquired a BA in Broadcast Communication from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He originally wanted to pursue a career in radio, but his exposure to his mother’s work as an OD consultant led him to his current career. Mike also has an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. Mike and his wife are the parents of three children, ages 17, 14 and 9. Outside of work, Mike enjoys spending time with family, exercising and playing the bass.
