Before joining AMITA, John served as the central and eastern market leader for KentuckyOne Health and the president of the 433-bed Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington. He oversaw, organized, and integrated the organizations in his regions, balancing this role with his operational responsibility for Saint Joseph Hospital.
Previously, John held the chief executive role at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts; Centinela Hospital Medical Center in Inglewood, California; East Houston Medical Center in Houston, Texas; and Medical Center of Southwest Louisiana in Lafayette. He also spent six years as the chief executive officer of JESS Health Care Consulting. John began his career in healthcare administration as an assistant administrator with HCA in Houston.
