Adrienne White-Faines is an Of Counsel consultant to Quick Leonard Kieffer (QLK), bringing to the firm a background in healthcare strategy, program and operations management, and organizational development. Adrienne has a demonstrated commitment to improve health status of populations across the globe.
In addition to her consulting and search work for QLK, she currently serves as chief strategy officer for the American College of Physicians, which, with over 161,000 Internal Medicine specialist and sub-specialists, is the largest medical specialist society in the world.
Previously, Adrienne served as chief executive officer of the American Osteopathic Association, the professional association representing more than 145,000 osteopathic physicians and medical students. While at AOA, she had oversight of the AOA’s work to advance the osteopathic profession, its medical education, accreditation, certification, public policy, and research in the U.S. and internationally.
Prior to AOA, Adrienne served as the vice president for health initiatives and advocacy with the American Cancer Society’s Illinois Division. As the lead executive for research, education, public policy, and patient services programs, she was regarded for her design of collaborative solutions to address health disparities. Adrienne began her healthcare career in strategic, operations, and capital planning in academic delivery settings, including Northwestern Memorial Hospital (Chicago); New York City Health and Hospitals Corp; LA County Hospital (Los Angeles) and large physician practice management companies in California and Illinois.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from Amherst College, an MPA in health service administration from the University of Southern California, and honorary doctorates from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, and from Western University of Health Sciences. Adrienne also continues involvement in community and corporate advisory roles, including City of Hope, Otho S.A. Sprague Institute, Loeb Center of Amherst College, Women of Color Advancing Peace (WCAPS), Erikson Institute, and Innovaccer Technologies. She is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Leadership Greater Chicago, and is the recipient of Chicago United’s Business Leaders of Color Award.
