Roger A. Quick is Founder and Chairman of Quick Leonard Kieffer International.
After serving as President and Healthcare Practice Leader of Norman Broadbent International, one of the largest retained executive search firms in the world, and as Managing Partner and Practice Leader for Healthcare at Korn/Ferry International, another large executive search firm, Roger founded his own firm in partnership with renown executive search leader, Mike Kieffer, based on three simple principles: Do great work for your clients. Assemble and reward a team that can find and discern great talent. And, always be learning so you can add value and have great impact for your clients.
Because of his commitment to these principles, QLK is now considered one of the leading health care retained search firms in the United States.
Over his 25 year career in executive search, Roger has conducted hundreds of board member, CEO, Dean, Clinical Chair, and senior executive searches for hospitals, healthcare systems, insurance companies, life sciences and medical technology firms, associations and professional societies, as well as nonprofits and voluntary health associations.
Before embarking on his executive search career, Roger served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the 250 member Illinois Hospital Association (IHA). Prior to that, he was the Association’s Chief Lobbyist and spokesperson in Springfield, Illinois and Washington, DC. In addition, Roger served as the President of the Illinois Hospital Research and Educational Foundation.
He has served in numerous volunteer roles including as a hospital, health system, local foundation and college trustee.
He is the former Chairman of the Board of Directors of the American Cancer Society for the State of Illinois and a member of the National Board of Trustees. In recognition of his leadership and dedicated service, he was awarded the St. George Medal, the highest volunteer award granted by the Society.
