Position
Member, Board of Trustees
Location
Arlington Heights, Illinois
Organization
It’s an exciting time at Northwest Community Healthcare and at our Foundation. In 2021, Northwest Community completed a merger with NorthShore University HealthSystem. This partnership promises to deliver even more opportunities for clinical care innovation and enhanced quality. NCH Foundation will continue to focus solely on the needs of our primary and secondary service area (which includes 24 northwest suburban communities) and will support NCH as an independent charity, as it has for decades.
The mission of Northwest Community Hospital Foundation is to inspire charitable giving that advances Northwest Community Hospital’s pursuit of excellence in serving patients and families.
The Board of Trustees is a committed team of volunteer community leaders and staff who serve as the primary fundraising arm of Northwest Community Healthcare. The Board of Trustees convenes at least four times each year (once per quarter). Each Trustee is expected to participate on at least one committee (Major Gifts, Planned Gifts, President’s Circle, Corporate Partners, Golf Classic, Foundation Scholarships). A current emphasis is on expansion of the Major Gifts committee to aid in the successful achievement of the multi-million-dollar Cancer Vision Campaign and other vital projects. Our Trustees have deep affection for NCH and act as its ambassadors in their businesses and communities.
