Hinke Jansen was placed as system vice president of total rewards at PeaceHealth in Vancouver, Washington. Served by over 15,600 employees, the not-for-profit Catholic health system offers care to communities in Washington, Oregon, and Alaska through a multi-specialty medical group practice with approximately 170 locations and more than 750 physicians and providers, and ten medical centers with a total of 1,600 licensed beds serving both urban and rural communities. In her role, Hinke will provide leadership and oversight of the total rewards function for the health system, developing and implementing the corporate total reward strategy for both compensation and benefits programs.

Hinke comes to PeaceHealth from ProMedica Health System in Toledo, Ohio, where she served as system director for executive and physician/provider compensation. In this capacity, she evaluated, developed, administered, and communicated all executive, physician, and provider compensation and benefits programs to support ProMedica’s talent strategy, introducing short- and long-term incentive programs, a supplemental retirement program, a financial wellness initiative, parental leave, a short- and long-term disability program, and a pay continuation program.

Previously, Hinke served as director of total rewards for University of Michigan/Michigan Medicine, a role into which she was promoted from prior compensation roles in the organization; she also served as a senior compensation analyst with Comerica Bank in Detroit, and began her career as an HR generalist at BookCrafters, a book manufacturing facility in Chelsea, Michigan.

Hinke holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in human resources from Eastern Michigan University. She is a Society of Human Resource Management Certified Professional, and a WorldatWork Certified Compensation Professional.
