Sanford Health System

Richard Adcock was named executive vice president for Sanford Health System. He is responsible for the Development and Research Division of Sanford Health, which includes the health plan, foundation, research, World Clinics and Sanford Frontiers. Rich began his tenure at Sanford Health in 2004 and has held various positions including director, vice president and executive vice president for Sanford Clinic, and president of Sanford Frontiers. Rich has been in the medical field for over 20 years, starting as co-owner and VP of Research and Development at Micro Medical Systems, then as director of Engineering and a Six Sigma Master Black Belt for GE Healthcare. At Micro Medical and GE Healthcare, Rich was responsible for new product development for Cardiovascular Information Systems. In addition, he was charged with managing global engineering teams at GE Healthcare. Rich holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and an MBA in healthcare management. He is also a board member and past board chair at Ronald McDonald House Charities and serves on the Sioux Council Boy Scouts Board of Directors as president of Sioux Council. Rich and his wife Melanie have three children.
